The Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM) combines industry-leading qualifications and specialist member services, with an aim to increase the standards of leadership and management skills and abilities of those taking the qualifications. Last year, over 90,000 people improved their leadership and managerial skills by obtaining an ILM qualification.
ILM course programmes consist of both mandatory and user-chosen units. This means that the courses are designed to be flexible, allowing participants to select those units which are most suitable for them and their job or intended career path.
The ILM Level 3 Award in First Line Management is a concise qualification which gives an introduction to the basic skills, knowledge and understanding required by today's first line manager. The mandatory unit 'Solving Problems and Making Decisions' is designed to develop practical techniques for tackling managerial problems and making decisions from gathering and interpreting information through to the effective communication of outcomes.

It's what we do with our time that makes the difference, whether that's finding out how to prioritise better, being more organised or learning how to say 'No' and what to say 'No' to.
You can't change time. There are 365 days per year, with an extra day every four years. Each day has 24 hours, giving us 8760 hours per year, multiply this by 60 minutes per hour and we've 525,600 minutes per year, which is 31,536,000 seconds. The best way to spend a fraction of them is in this 2-day ILM accredited course.
